KEEP YOUR TOWELS FLUFFY AND ABSORBENT

You know when you buy new towels, you wash them before you use them, then you use them and they leave fluff all over you and they soak up NOTHING! So annoying. Use this trick to stop that fluffing in its tracks!

If you have brought new towels and you want to make sure they will be fluffy AND absorbent. First wash them with 1 cup of white vinegar on a hot wash (not too hot or you will shrink them). Rewash again using hot water and 1/2 cup of baking soda. Hang them out to dry.  When they are dry, if you do find them a bit scratchy then shoot them into the dryer for a quick 10 minute blast. This will ensure they stay super soft but also absorbent.

More regular washing? Use 1/4 cup of white vinegar in a regular wash and follow the same procedure with the dryer.

I would recommend you DO NOT use fabric softener on your towels. It leaves a residue on the towels which stops them from being absorbent.
